Conestoga team whip
Heavy whip with sewn cover, 3ft, purchased from a Canadian. It is a type of whip that has a problem: the sewn edge can break open as it is a weak link and a point of high stress. It was used by conestoga wagon teamsters in the 1800´s. This whip was commonly made in Pennsylvania where the Conestoga wagon was first made. This whip, with a short fall, also was used by wagoners in the US civil war.
